Known as Parallax, it threatens to disrupt the balance of the universe. The squadron has never had much respect for humans, but this time they have no choice. As their first-ever human recruit, Hal finds the future of the earth itself is in his hands.

With the support of his fellow pilot and childhood sweetheart Carol Ferris (Blake Lively), he sets about mastering his amazing new powers and embarks on a road that will see him become the greatest Green Lantern of them all.
