(AGI) Taipei - Taiwan has ordered radioactivity tests to be carried out on all letters and parcels arriving from Japan.
Tseng Chin-hsiung, head of the Post Office's commercial department, said that "all correrspondence from Japan will be subjected to "radiation testing in Taipei before being delivered to recipients." On average 50 thousand parcels and 20 tonnes of letters arrive from Japan each month. The precautionary measures took effect on Tuesday and nothing unusual has yet been detected. . .
