Urgent appeal as BBC Radio Bristol presenter Peter Rowell goes missing

POLICE have issued an urgent appeal for help in finding radio and TV presenter Peter Rowell.

The 52-year-old BBC Radio Bristol and former ITV presenter was reported missing yesterday after failing to turn up for work.

He left his home in Wickwar at 8.30am and parked his car at Morrisons supermarket in Yate.

He could not be contacted and police last night called for anyone who has seen him to get in touch.

They described him as "vulnerable" and said he is thought to be depressed after the death of a close relative. Call police on 0845 456 7000 with any information.
