RIM To Continue Support Adobe Flash

RIM intervened to reassure users who have chosen the QNX platform used by the BlackBerry playbook: Support for Adobe Flash Player will not fail regardless of the decisions taken by Adobe. RIM will continue to develop Adobe Flash Player because of the license acquired by Adobe that lets you use the source code of Flash Player. Starting from this assumption it follows the decision to proceed with the development of Flash. RIM had focused much of his campaign to launch the BlackBerry Playbook by leveraging its own ability to manage Flash content unlike other platforms, such as IO.
