Sacked Two and a Half Men star Charlie Sheen used his first opportunity to comment on his dismissal to deliver a scripted, near-indecipherable rant against his former colleagues.

The 45-year-old called himself the "Malibu messiah" before relaunching attacks on the hit sitcom's creator Chuck Lorre, CBS chief Les Moonves, Warner Bros chief Peter Roth and a man named as "Bruce".

"What happened yesterday was completely and entirely illegal, unconscionable and to quote my lawyer 'really shitty shitty suck suck'," he said before launching into a bizarre diatribe in his fourth "Sheen's Korner" webcast.

The actor appeared fresher and more focused than during his third webcast, in which he inhaled a cigarette through his nose and appeared tired and drawn.

He seemed to be reading from a script and peppered the address with references to epic battles, warlords, overlords, goddesses and tiger blood.

Sheen saved his most savage criticism of Lorre, whom he called at different points "silly clown", "shit brain", "little worm" and "loser".

"Where are you hiding you silly clown? Behind your narcissism, your greed, your hatred of yourself, or women?" he said.

"Which personality are you cowering beneath for transparent cover? I see you, you little worm, I see you."

Lorre has been the target of Sheen's public attacks throughout this saga, which kicked off after the actor was admitted to hospital at the end of a day-long drug and alcohol binge in January.

Sheen was fired from the CBS sitcom yesterday but has said through a lawyer that he planned to sue the network.

In other news, Sheen has topped all internet and social media discussions since the beginning of the year, beating out buzz and controversy surrounding the iPad, singer Lady Gaga and US President Barack Obama, according to a survey released by the Global Language Monitor on Tuesday.

"Charlie Sheen ... is everywhere. The growing pervasiveness of social media only enhances this global echo chamber," said Paul Payack, president and chief word analyst for the Global Language Monitor.

Payack used an algorithm to analyse the top 20 persons (or things) of interest on blogs, internet-only news sites and social media sites such as Twitter and YouTube between January 1 and March 8 this year.

Sheen was first, followed by Apple's iPad, Lady Gaga, Mr Obama and Tea Party favourite Sarah Palin.

Controversial actor Charlie Sheen is now starring in his own web show, "Sheen's Korner," and reportedly planning on cashing in on some of his catch phrases. But, is Charlie Sheen "winning?" Seth Doane reports.

(CBS News)

NEW YORK - Charlie Sheen isn't taking unemployment quietly.

Fired Monday from the TV show "Two and a Half Men," the actor has now become an Internet sensation, and the jokes and job opportunities have started to pour in, CBS News correspondent Seth Doane reports.

Sheen is now starring in his own show on the web, called "Sheen's Korner," part tragedy, part science-fiction, definitely a mystery.

"I'm going to write my sermons," said Sheen. "I'm going to deliver them like truth torpedoes."

"You're either in my corner or you're with the trolls," Sheen said.

It's all setting new highs -- or, rather, lows -- in the social-media sphere, with nearly a million Twitter followers in just one day and well more than 2 million now.

"A lot of people are thinking that Charlie Sheen has a huge opportunity to monetize his whole crazy train wreck life online," said Digital Living's Shelly Palmer. "He's got the tools at his disposal. He's already proven that he's a gigantic Twitter and Facebook monster."

Companies hoping to cash-in are boarding that train wreck too:

Sheen's tweet Monday about needing an intern linked directly to an ad from internships.com, which paid Sheen an undisclosed amount for the placement and got more than 300,000 clicks in return.

That deal was brokered by Adly Inc., whose CEO, Arnie Gullov-Singh, was at an advertising conference in Austin, Texas, Tuesday. Adly is known to pay up to $10,000 per tweet to celebrities who hawk products.

"These are celebrities who have huge scale and huge influence with consumers and social media," said Gullov-Singh. "That's why brands are lining up to be part of it."

Even wholesome companies are borrowing his catchphrases "winning" and "tiger blood." McDonald's tweeted about "McWinning." Target's tweeted "TigerBlood" is not yet for sale at their stores. Even the venerable American Red Cross tweeted, "We may not collect #tigerblood, but we know our donors & volunteers have fierce passion."

But Edmund Lee, a digital media reporter for Advertising Age, said there might be a risk for companies to get attached to Sheen.

"If Charlie Sheen continues to be thought of in this crazy way, that's the association stuck to your brand," Lee said.

Now even the Sheen marketing machine is being mocked, such as by late night host Jimmy Fallon.

Even if viewers don't know what to make of all this, Sheen hopes it'll keep making him a little money.

Charlie Sheen just won't shut up.

The target of his latest tirade? Two and a Half Men 's Jon Cryer.

Fired from the hit CBS show on Monday, Sheen was expecting his costar to reach out to him. "Jon has not called me," he tells E! News. "He's a turncoat, a traitor, a troll. Clearly he's a troll. He issued a statement. Is it going to take me calling him a 'traitor, juvenile and scared' for him to get it?"

As for his other castmates, Sheen noted that many, including Angus T. Jones, were, in fact, "not trolls" because they had called him.

For his part, Cryer seems to be staying out of the craziness. Aside from poking fun at his unemployment status on Ellen, the actor has kept quiet. And if he were to contact Sheen now? "I'll tell him, 'You're a little late. Goodbye troll," said Sheen. "When I'm starring in multi-million dollar films and he's begging me for a supporting role, I'll say, 'You left me out in the cold with all of your guilt and stupidity."

Until those plum roles surface, the actor, is working on his "manifesto" and the new, nightly ustream.tv show, Sheen's Korner. Asked if he planned to have any guests on, he replied, "I don't need guests. I have one: Me."
