5 killed in terror attack at wedding party in Algeria

TEBESSA, Algeria, June 25 (Xinhua) -- Five citizens were killed and one was seriously injured by fire from a terrorist group who targeted a marriage party on Thursday evening in the town of Stah Guenter, 110 km south of Tebessa of Algeria, a security source said Friday.

Four persons died on the spot while the fifth died of his wounds during his transfer to the hospital, the source said, adding that a sixth citizen has been "severely affected."

The security services have immediately triggered a search operation of the armed group who fled the scene after the crime, according to the source.
