It was American Idol Gives Back night during Inspirational Week and one contestant had to go. Crystal Bowersox had threatened to quit until she was talked out of it by Ryan Seacrest. It's tough to see how she is cracking under the pressure, when she clearly has the competition won at this point. Since Crystal remained, someone had to be eliminated. And the loser was... Tim Urban eliminated from American Idol 2010! After another lackluster performance yesterday, it was easy for the judges to choose who would go. Casey James and Aaron Kelly rounded out the bottom three.
Tim Urban sang Better Days by the Goo Goo Dolls. Not a particularly inspiring choice of song, and he tanked it. If you're going to go out, go on a high note. Don't just fade into mediocrity. Oh well, Tim Urban had been on the cusp for a while, and finally there was noone left below him. Do you agree that Tim Urban should have been eliminated this week? It was pretty clear to me after his performance last night.
