Bruce Springsteen Announced as Keynote Speaker at SXSW

Plus: Thee Oh Sees, Cloud Nothings, Teengirl Fantasy, Class Actress, more on initial lineup

The Boss really is back. Bruce Springsteen is preparing to tour and release a new album, and he's just been been announced as the keynote speaker at next year's South by Southwest. The address will take place on March 15 at the Austin Convention Center.
The 2012 SXSW lineup is also beginning to come together. A growing list of bands that will play the fest, taking place March 13-18 in Austin, Texas includes Teengirl Fantasy, Thee Oh Sees, Cloud Nothings, the Wedding Present, Class Actress, Psychic Ills, Spectrals, Com Truise, the Men, Niki and the Dove, Blouse, and a zillion more.
