Charlie Sheen redeemed himself after the disastrous first night of his My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Death is Not an Option Tour by winning over an audience in Chicago on Sunday.

Just one night after he was booed offstage after his debut in Detroit, Michigan, Sheen managed to impress the crowd with his second show at the Chicago Theatre in Illinois.

The show's format was revamped to see Sheen dropping his attempts at comedy and instead fielding questions from an interviewer and bantering with the crowd.

The actor regaled fans with tales from his personal life and career and even admitted he would return to Two and a Half Men despite his firing from the hit show last month.

He explained, "If they say, 'Here's your job back,' I'll go back to work. I think it's a great f**king show (but) they (producers) didn't give a f**k that I was hammered for eight years... Money, ratings, money, ratings."

After he was given a standing ovation, he thanked the crowd for showing up despite the bad reviews he received for his Detroit show.

He said, "I had the best f**king time of my life, unlike that death sentence that was Detroit."
