It was a year ago that floods and landslides killed more than 900 people in Brazil.
It was one of the worst natural disasters in the country's history and left more than 31 thousand people homeless.
Homes still remain in ruin and rebuilding has been slow, with former residents frustrated and accusing the government of corruption and neglect.
Al Jazeera's Gabriel Elizondo returns to the devastated town of Teresopolis and files this report.
