Google Translate 1.3 (free) - Google Mobile has announced a new 1.3 version of Google Translate that is compatible with the iPad. With this app users can translate words and phrases between more than 60 languages, and can do so by either speaking the text or typing it in. A history option is available for viewing previously translated text while offline, and a favorites list provides quick access to commonly used text. [Download - 2.2MB]

Flipboard 1.7.2 (free) - Flipboard 1.7.2 is designed to create a personalized magazine out of images and text being shared via Facebook, Tumblr, and other favorite applications. The latest release addresses a number of minor bugs, and improves overall usability. [Download - 8.7MB]

Voice Synth 1.0 ($5) - Qneo recently unveiled a new voice-changing tool for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, labelled Voice Synth. Through the app users can tweak every aspect of their voice, or the voice of others, including pitch, distortion and delay. Lunar Racer 1.0 ($1) - A new space-age racing game, Lunar Racer, has made its debut on the iPhone and iPad. In this game players take part in low-gravity moon buggy racing, while competing against other players or computer oponents for first place. Backyard Bounce 1.0 ($1) - Backyard Bounce is the latest puzzle game by Clickgamer Technologies, which has players use various objects to knock, roll, and bounce a bowling ball into the goal.
