#DILMA #LULA : Positioning of the Churches on the elections in 2010. Against the Workers' Party

For the first time in recent political history of Brazil, the Catholic and Protestant are united and mobilized by directing millions of Brazilians in the same direction right to vote on October 3 next year, when will be elected the new president, senators, congressmen and governors of states.

Since they can not do party politics, are not saying whom voters should vote for, but fulfilling the duty to say who should not vote.

According to the president of the Brazilian Bishops, Monsignor Gerardo Rocha, "Catholics should not vote for a candidate who advocates the opposite positions advocated by the Church." Masses and worships during the last days all over Brazil, the tone of bishops, priests and pastors have been the same commandment CNBB for the upcoming elections: the political power emanates from the people and voting is an important exercise of citizenship: the good ruler governs for everyone, not just one faction or party, religion belongs to the identity of a people deserve to vote and only candidates who respect freedom of conscience and religious convictions of citizens, the family is a heritage of humanity and society that neglects the family destroys the very foundations and the Christians should not vote for candidates of the party that does not comply with principles and human and Christian values.

These recommendations have a correct address: PT, Lula's party and its candidate Rousseff. Main enemy in sight that is uniting the forces of Catholic and Protestant against the PT is the infamous PNDH Programme National Human Rights by President Lula sent to Congress for approval in the next legislature. Lula did not execute this program in his government because he had no majority in the Senate for passing laws.
So, is so committed to electing the President and Dilma more than 50 senators in the states. When he tells voters to vote for senators and PT Dilma allies to help govern, they're lying. In fact, he wants Dilma has majority in the Senate to pass legislation that will mean the deployment of totalitarianism in Brazil, thinking, of course, the possible back in 2014 when it would then have all the legal means to stay in power forever as Hugo Chavez in Venezuela or Fidel Castro in Cuba.Desse controversial National Programme for Human Rights, ironically called Inhuman Rights, launched and supported by Lula and already approved by Congress in the PT, there is: legalized abortion, the recognition of civil unions between same- sex, guaranteeing the right of adoption by couples homoafe-tives, ban the crucifix and other religious symbols in public institutions, destabilization of the right to private property, gag law, legalization of euthanasia and professional regulation of prostitution.

In short, is a program that repeats the Venezuelan Constitution of Hugo Chavez and put Brazil on the path of ditadura.Para the Catholic and Protestant, these proposals mean the official-ness of the iniquities in Brazil. Therefore, bishops, priests and pastors are advising the faithful throughout the country: The PT has already closed issue in defense of these changes and has even rigorously punished two of his deputies, including expulsion, Luiz Bassuma (BA) and Henri-that Alfonso (AC), because they demonstrated against the legalization of abortion.

Therefore, with the majority in the Senate, the future government of the PT, if Rousseff is actually elected, may adopt and execute all such intolerance and authoritarianism of the assaults on human and Christian principles. In some congregations, such as the Baptist Church of Paraná, the orientation has been quite clear to the faithful: the PT have every right to defend their ideas, but Christians have a duty not to vote for them, not voting in the PT.
