Pakistan Army: US Personnel To Be Cut

Any More Raids Will Prompt Review Of Ties With US

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan's army says U.S. military personnel in the country will be reduced to the "minimum essential" levels.

Thursday's army statement gives no details, but it comes amid Pakistani anger over the American raid that killed Osama bin Laden on Monday.

U.S. officials were not immediately available for comment.

The statement also says that if the United States launches a similar raid in the future then the army and intelligence services will review their ties with Washington.

The statement is the first by the army since Monday's raid.

Meanwhile, details are starting to emerge about what life was like inside bin Laden's top-secret Pakistani mansion before his death.

And now an unlikely source is giving details, a 12-year-old boy.

The boy, who lives near the compound, has come forward telling his experiences with the bin Laden family. He says they were extremely secretive and had a video camera watching who came near their compound.

He even claims he adopted two of their pets and says the family rarely left.

The Pakistani man who owned the compound where bin Laden was found claimed he was buying the property for "an uncle."

The man, who sold the land back in 2005, says the man who purchased the property was a "good and simple man."

He says he was shocked to find out that the al-Qaeda leader was living in the compound.

The man who purchased the land is now in police custody and will be interrogated by intelligence agents.
