#lula #dilma Os “ricos” decorosos de Belo Horizonte

Chego a achar, às vezes, que os petistas guardam números piores do que aqueles que os institutos de pesquisa têm indicado. Só isso explica a histeria que tomou conta do partido. Ok. Diferença de seis pontos, num segundo turno, não chega a ser um latifúndio, mas também não é para enlouquecer ninguém. E os petistas surtaram.

Ontem, em Belo Horizonte, Lula ressuscitou aquele seu particular entendimento de luta de classes, que tem jeitão de arranca-rabo de classes. Em cima de um jipe, em companhia de Dilma Rousseff, liderou uma carreta na capital mineira. Os moradores do bairro Mangabeiras, onde começou a manifestação, faziam sinais de negativo para a dupla, com os polegares apontados para baixo. Foi o que bastou para o Babalorixá de Banânia engatar aquele discursozinho usado:
“Eu fico constrangido, porque aquelas pessoas ricas foram as que mais ganharam dinheiro no meu governo. O que aquelas pessoas não conseguiram foi superar o preconceito contra um metalúrgico ser presidente e fazer pelo Brasil o que eles não conseguiram fazer”.

Pois é… Com efeito, os ricos não têm mesmo muito do que reclamar. O presidente tem razão. E por que, então, o sinal de negativo daqueles “ricos” ao menos? Vai ver não é preconceito, mas senso de decoro, de decência. Fossem egoístas, pensariam apenas em si mesmos e diriam: “Para mim, está bem. Então que se dane o resto!” Vai ver pensam também no país…

De vez em quando, o Lula de 1989 ressuscita com sua guerrinha vagabunda entre ricos e pobres, típica do tempo em que ele não vencia eleições.

State Visit from Brasil

Yesterday the royal family participated in the state visit to Denmark by the Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. On arrival in the late afternoon the presidential couple met the Royal Family and later in the evening attended a gala dinner with formal speeches at Fredensborg Palace. On today's second day of the visit the president has been occupied with political, industry, union and project level meetings (see Politiken). It appears there has been an exchange of Danish and Brazilian decorations since the Queen, Prince Henrik, Frederik and Mary are sporting Brazilian orders (Order of the Southern Cross) and President Lula has an Order of the Elephant, while the First Lady has an Order of Dannebrog.
