Utah Blue Light program now Active!

Utah Blue Alert program now active!

The "Blue Alert" program is now active in Utah!  After several years of working to implement this program the Utah Chiefs of Police Association and the Utah Attorney General's Office announced on October 17, 2011 the Blue Alert program is now up and running in Utah.  The blue Alert program is a voluntary partnership between law enforcement and local broadcasters to rapidly disseminate information to law enforcement agencies, broadcasters and teh public about violent suspects who have killed or seriously injured a law enforcement officer and pose a threat to the public.  For more information click here.
