Cats Trail Florida 34-14 Heading In To Final Quarter

By Brent Carney

Chris Matthews' second touchdown catch of the game got Kentucky back in the game but Florida answered with a touchdown of its own and leads after three quarters, 34-14.
Gators freshman Trey Burton has scored four touchdowns, including his third running out of the wildcat formation to put Florida back ahead by three scores late in the third quarter.
Mike Hartline connected with Chris Matthews on a 27-yard touchdown pass eight minutes in to the quarter that temporarily silenced the crowd at The Swamp.
Matthews has five catches for 100 yards through three quarters.
He caught an 11-yard touchdown pass from Randall Cobb on a fake field goal in the second quarter to start Kentucky's scoring.
After Burton's fourth touchdown, Kentucky's offense responded by going three-and-out and punting. Florida will begin the fourth quarter with the ball.
