January 14 will be a special day for Facebook fans of home-furnishings retailer Ikea: Bring Your Own Friends Day.
The goal of BYOF Day is to reward the retailer’s loyalists and their friends with perks and giveaways.
Visitors to the Ikea Facebook page can register for the national in-store event and sign up for offers including free blue bags, breakfasts, and buy one, get one free lunches. They can also establish IKEA Shopping Teams and invite friends to join them.
The retailer will donate $1 for each friend invited, up to $50,000, to Save the Children.
