5.7-magnitude quake hits Pakistan -- local agency

ISLAMABAD, Aug. 10 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale jolted Pakistan at 00:53:20 GMT on Wednesday, the Pakistani meteorological agency reported.

The epicenter, with a depth of 8.30 km, was initially determined to be at 27.6996 degrees north latitude and 65.1104 degrees east longitude.
