ISLAMABAD, May 13 (Xinhua) -- Two blasts occurred in a prison building under construction in northwest Pakistan's city of Hangu on Thursday morning, a local TV reported. Nobody was hurt as the twin blasts partially damaged the prison building in Hangu, a main city in Orakzai tribal area, District Police chief told media. Meanwhile, the Pakistani security forces retaliated to a rocket attack by militants on their checkpoint in Kasuri Narai of the South Waziristan tribal region Thursday morning. Orakzai agency is the focus of Pakistani security forces's continuing operation against militants in the South Waziristan tribal area that is loosely administered by the government. Several hundred militants have so far been killed and a number of their hideouts have been destroyed by the security forces since early this year.
