After boggling our minds with the astonishing un‘dream’able movie Inception, Leonardo Dicaprio is back with a biopic titled J. Edgar.
Suitably, the trailer does its job and leaves us longing for the
movie to release! Leonardo plays the real life character of J. Edgar
Hoover in the film, who is known as the first director general of FBI
and was instrumental in creating modern technologies like the
centralized fingerprint file (a glimpse of which is shown in the
trailer).
The trailer also sees Leonardo DiCaprio asking Armie Hammer (who
plays Clyde Tolson) to be his “number two man”. Well, we don’t know
whether the movie will help uncover the true story, but rumours in the
past suggested that J. Edgar was a gay and Clyde Tolson might be his
love interest!
The controversies surrounding the later part of J. Edgar’s life,
like the one where he mentions to Clyde that sometimes one needs to bend
the laws a lil bit to expose the corrupt top-men, has also been covered
in the trailer!
Gosh! A lot has been covered in the trailer itself! Nevertheless, is
it going to deter us from watching the movie? I don’t think so! And am
sure you think alike!
Anyhow, before you check the trailer below, we leave you with words
from the trailer which we are sure will receive applause from Anna
Hazare supporters - “It’s time this generation learned the difference
between villain and hero. Even great men can be corrupted.”
