Arnold Schwarzenegger has put his Hollywood comeback on hold amid a scandal over a secret child he fathered with his housekeeper, according to reports.

The 63-year-old Terminator star has told his agents to halt plans for upcoming films so he can deal with "personal matters", according to a statement.
Schwarzenegger, who ended his second term as California governor in January, had been working on at least three projects, including a new Terminator movie in which he was due to star.
He has also been cast as a retired horse trainer in Cry Macho, due to start shooting in September.
Schwarzenegger had also announced plans to appear as the central character in a comic-book inspired animated TV series called The Governator.

Celebrity news website TMZ.com reported Thursday that producers of that project have also announced plans to freeze development.
Earlier it was reported Schwarzenegger had spent £200,000 on a four-bedroom home for Mildred Baena, 50, and her teenage son Joseph.
Their joint statement did not mention Schwarzenegger's affair with Ms Baena and their love child.
But he confirmed his fling with Ms Baena in a statement to the LA Times earlier this week.
Hollywood producers had said earlier this week they did not think the negative fallout would affect Schwarzenegger's plans to resume his acting career after seven years in politics.
