Gunmen kidnap ambulance in Rio de Janeiro

A group of gunmen kidnapped on Friday for an ambulance from the Fire Department in Vicar General, a suburb of Rio Fifteen men approached and earned the team's group of Irajá (north zone) that had been thrown to attend an event in the neighborhood.

The incident occurred at around 15.30. The group made the firefighters were to lead the ambulance to Parada de Lucas, in the north. There was one patient in the vehicle.

The suspicion is that the ambulance has been hijacked by the group to move between favelas. No one was injured.

The police had no clues about the suspects. The case was registered at the 44th PD (Inhaúma).
