David Goldman grew up in Ocean Township, New Jersey, the son of a charter boat captain. A graduate of Virginia Wesleyan College, Goldman found a career modeling

Capt. David GOLDMAN - Shore Catch Guide Service LLC

David is a licensed U.S.C.G. Master Captain who has been fishing the local waters of the Jersey Shore for over 30 years.

His fishing experiences have taken him from our local New Jersey waters, to the tropical islands of Hawaii, and South and Central America where he has fished for Grouper, Cobia, Billfish, Tuna, and a host of other species.

He has spent countless days on the water with tremendous success inshore and at the offshore canyons with his father Captain Barry Goldman who operated the Ol’Salty II since David's childhood.

In 2009 he guided two clients to +50 pound stipers on the same day. We call Dave “The BASSMASTER”
