URGENT: Update from Nafusa Mountain Yefren & Al-Qalaa

A member of our group received information, today Friday 20 of May at about 00:30 hrs Libyan time, from a Gadaffi military man in Bir Alghanam (North east to Yefren) telling that a group of vehicles is heading west on the motor way. The source in Bir Alghanam said that these vehicles carry no weapons that he is aware of and that ORANGE GARBAGE COLLECTION TRUCKS AND TOYOTA VEHICLES are carrying GRAD MISSILES, AMMUNITION AND SUSPICIOUS CONTAINERS. There is no other gate to Nafusa Mountains open and it is in control of Gaddafi forces except that of Bir Ayad-Yefren, it was assumed that these vehicles are going to enter the mountain via Yefren. Being described as “suspicious” materials by a trained military person, we decided to take the matter seriously. This is so, especially bearing in mind the hate Gaddafi has towards Amazigh ethnic minority that occupy cities in Nafusa mountains, with biggest being Yefren. For information the ethnic Amazigh minority can be traced back to 4000 BC in the Nafusa Mountains. We urge you to take appropriate and fast measure before it is too late.
