15 dead bodies of Afghan plane crash found: officials

GORBAND, Afghanistan, May 21 (Xinhua) -- Fifteen dead bodies of the victims of the Afghan passenger plane which crashed five days ago have been found in mountains of Gorband district in the country's northern Parwan province, officials said Friday.

Rescue officials in Gorband told reporters that the dead bodies would be sent to Kabul, the capital city, later on Friday.

Afghanistan's Pamir Airways PM 1102 flight went missing Monday en route from the northern city of Kunduz to Kabul with 43 on board, eight of them foreigners.
