Vietnam records 8,213 people infected with A/H1N1 flu virus

On September 26, the Department of Preventive Medicine and Environment under the Ministry of Health confirmed more than 199 patients testing positive for the A/H1N1 flu virus.

To date there have been 8,213 patients testing positive for the A/H1N1 flu virus and 14 of them have died.

The 14^th fatal case was one of Australian nationality who died in FV Hospital on September 24.

6,550 patients have been discharged from hospital. The rest remain in hospitals and are all in a stable condition.
