GATINEAU, Que. — G8 foreign ministers are set to issue a statement shortly condemning Monday's terror attacks on the Moscow subway system.
Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov says the statement will express support for the Russian government and people.
The ministers - who meet Tuesday to talk about world security -received a jolting reminder about the dangers of terrorism with news of the attacks.
Two blasts shook Moscow's subway system, leaving dozens dead.
Lavrov spoke at the close of a mini-summit of Arctic states hosted by Canada.
