BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — Glee has another reason to feel gleeful this morning.

The toe-tapping, high-energy musical ensemble comedy about high-school theatre students won three Television Critics Association Awards late Saturday, at a ceremony at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Glee won TCA awards for outstanding new program and individual achievement in comedy, for Jane Lynch. Glee was also the critics' choice for Program of the Year.

Glee was the only program to win more than one award on the night. In all, 11 awards were handed out.

Modern Family was named best comedy.

In a surprise tie vote, Lost and Breaking Bad were named co-winners of the critics' award for outstanding drama series.

Julianna Margulies, an Emmy nominee and the presumed frontrunner for her role in The Good Wife, won the TCA award for individual achievement in drama.

In other categories, BBC and the Discovery Channel's natural history series Life earned the TCA award for news-and-information programming.

And The Pacific, HBO's sprawling follow-up to Band of Brothers, produced by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg and co-written and co-directed by Canadians Graham Yost and Jeremy Podeswa, won the TCA award for miniseries.

Yost and Podeswa are both nominated for Emmys, which will be handed out Aug. 29 in Los Angeles.

The Nick Jr. children's cable show Yo Gabba Gabba won its second award in as many years for outstanding youth program.

In a shout out to the past, the classic 1970s wartime comedy M*A*S*H won the TCA's Heritage Award. And James Garner, star of the seminal private-detective series The Rockford Files, won the TCA's Career Achievement citation.
